Two years after celebrating its 50th anniversary, Gas Bijoux is delighted to partner up with the famous Vilebrequin house, who has just celebrated its 50th anniversary.

This collaboration resulted in handmade bracelets designed around the color codes of the house Vilebrequin. In keeping with the idea of upcycling that both brands hold dear, some models even use cords, tips or fabric scraps that are woven link after link around metal beads.

A few months ago, we launched the “Seconde vie” project, a circular and eco-conscious initiative, for which our clients were invited to bring or send back the old Gas Bijoux creations they no longer wore in order to give them… a new start in life.

 This way, our workshop has collected around 400 pieces. Thanks to the unique savoir-faire of our craftsmen, they have been appraised, cleaned, dismantled, re-strassed, re-packed, re-enameled, reshaped and reassembled. Today, we are very proud to put these as good as new creations back on the market. These upcycled pieces will be exhibited and available for the first time during the Saint Tropez Braderie, from October 29^th to 31^st, in our historical “tropézienne” store. Like a sign, where it all began…

Of course, as part of our desire to be ethical, all the profits from the Seconde Vie sales will be donated to the Wings of the Ocean charity, which fights against marine and coastal pollution. To do so, the volunteers undertake multiple actions to clean up the oceans, collect waste on the beaches and raise awareness among the public and local authorities. We are delighted to join the fight for the Big Blue, which has always been the inspiration of our house.

Why should a piece of jewelry end up sleeping in a drawer or be sold when expert hands, who surely made it a few years ago, can give it a second life? 

This ecosystem has lasted for more than 50 years in our house. Today, with your help, we would like to go even further. For you, for everyone, for tomorrow.

From March 16th until the end of the month, we are launching a collection operation called ‘Seconde Vie’ in our french stores and we need your help. To participate in this eco-friendly project together, we will collect the old Gas Bijoux creations that you will have returned to us in our points of sale, so that they can be recycled. 

As a matter of fact, after a careful inspection by our expert sales consultants to see if the jewels can actually be recycled, the jewelry you will return with will be sent to the workshop so that we can recycle the components and reusable finishes, instead of ordering or producing new ones.

All Gas Bijoux creations will be included, even if damaged, blackened or oxidized (with the exception of link bracelets and mismatched earrings).

To thank you for this much needed action, we will give you a discount voucher for your next purchase in the stores, which you can use the same day or later. This discount will depend on the number of pieces you bring back to us: 10% off for one piece of jewelry, 15% for two pieces, 20% for three pieces.

Gas Bijoux has joined the Françoise label to imagine a limited-edition collection of costume jewelry.

For this, Marie has invited her friend Johanna Senyk, the creator of Françoise to give birth to their shared ideas. In a real exchange with the house's craftsmen and their unique savoir-faire, the designer took up the challenge of transforming her impulse into confortable and perfect balanced jewelry. Together, they have imagined together a collection of fifteen pieces: necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and belts 

Infused by a seventies spirit, layers of charms, crosses and mineral glass elements articulated on 24 karat golden chains, answer threads of various sized pearls as well as ethereal cascades of links.

70s inspired pieces, that bear an irresolute modern air, destined to withstand the test of time.
