Is the website gasbijoux.com secure?

Yes. The data procedure on the gasbijoux.com website follows Internet applicable security agreements. Credit card numbers are not saved on the gasbijoux.com website, but on the secured server of our banking institution.

What is your privacy policy?

You can browse the gasbijoux.com website without delivering any personal data. However, when you create an account on the gasbijoux.com website, we collect the necessary data for the billing and delivery of your orders: names, addresses, email addresses, etc. Our privacy policy is accessible on the website.

DELIVERY & SHIPPING

What is gasbijoux.com’s website delivery area?

The gasbijoux.com website ships worldwide. Except for France and the European Union, delivery is based on the Delivery Duty Paid process. Importation taxes are calculated and included in the purchase price. Packages are delivered upon signature. Customers can request a mailbox delivery (precise in the delivery comments in the validation step of your shopping bag).

What are the delivery time and costs?

Orders placed before 12pm are delivered the same day, except for weekends, bank holidays or exceptional information delivered by our services. You will receive an email confirming the order processing as well as its delivery. During the holiday season, please check with our customer service.

Gasbijoux.com’s delivery service is covered by our providers, Colissimo and UPS, for France and the rest of the world. UPS delivery is only insured with the Express option (in order to provide a very rapid delivery service) hence the higher cost compared to Colissimo. For Paris and inner suburbs, it is possible to select a courier service (delivery on the same day for orders placed before 2pm).

Delivery is free from 250€ or 300$ (US zone).

How can I follow the delivery of my order ?

If you wish to follow the delivery of your order, check “My account” and then “See my orders”. For Colissimo and UPS deliveries, Gas Bijoux will send you an email as soon as the package is shipped, giving you a delivery tracking number. For the delivery itself, the information will then be given by Colissimo and UPS.


RETURNS, REFUNDS & CREDITS

What is the delay to return an order and what are the conditions?

You have the possibility to return any order on the gasbijoux.com website in the 14 days following the delivery date.

Any non-compliant return or unfit for resale (damaged, used or dirty) will not be submitted to return nor credit and will thus be redelivered at your attention.

According to the provisions of the L121-21-8 article of the French Code of Consumption, products made for special orders (made-to-measure customized links) cannot be exchanged, nor reimbursed.

Can I exchange a product bought on the e-store in a Gas Bijoux shop or a retailer?

Any purchase made on our eshop cannot be exchanged or refunded in our Gas Bijoux stores or in one of our retailers (France & world).

How must I return a product ordered on the www.gasbijoux.com website?

For Other countries:

For France & Europe :

Any return request must be declared beforehand.
In order to request a return, log into your personal account, and conduct the return procedure:

  • My account
  • My orders
  • Click on « Preview » for the concerned order
  • Click on « Return »
  • Finally click on « New return request”

You can request :

  • A refund: return costs are at your charge.
  • A credit note valid on the gasbijoux.fr website only: a return label for a prepaid return will be sent to you.

If you have placed an order with a payment in 3 or 4 installments free of charge (only for zone France), you will only receive a refund if you return the totality of the products of your order.

Once your return request is accepted, you will receive an email detailing the procedure to return your package. Whatever return type, the product must be returned in its original condition and package, accompanied by the printed return form « Print RMA » or a note detailing your return number, name, address and the reason for the return.

Upon reception of the returned product, the refund will be performed according to the byer’s will either with a:

  • Credit note available 4 months on the www.gasbijoux.fr website.
  • A refund credit directly on the bank account or Paypal account depending on the payment mode used for the order. The refund amount will equal the amount of the return product, without penalty, except for the return costs that remain at your charge.
  • In the case of a refund or a credit note, except for faulty products of a delivery negligence on our part, delivery costs from the original order will not be refunded.

An email will be sent to you to confirm the refund of your order, or to precise the code of your credit note.


WRAPPING & GIFT

How is the jewelry wrapped?

Each order is prepared with the utmost care: tissue paper, a silk pouch, a gift bag, and ready to be gifted to the happy receiver if it’s a present. However, you have the possibility to precise if your order is a gift.

How to offer a gift?

You have 2 possibilities :

  • By making a traditional order on the e-store. You have the possibility to request an accompanying note that will be printed on a lovely Gas Bijoux card. Upton reception of the gift, the happy receiver will have the possibility to request a credit note to our customer service, if it wants to exchange the gift.
  • By choosing to offer a Gas Bijoux gift card online. It will enable the happy receiver to freely choose its gift within our e-store’s large selection.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Which pieces can be given for repair?

As an artisanal company, we offer an exceptional After-Sales service that enables the repair of most Gas Bijoux jewels (except for pieces that are now irreplaceable). We are committed to repairing your jewels years after their purchase, so that you can keep them the longest possible.

What are the delays for After-Sales service/Repairs?

For simple After-Sales procedures such as the bonding of a strass, or the cleaning of a barrel, except during the holiday season or exceptional periods, you can count on a delay of 15 days approximatively. For more complex After Purchase procedures (the replacement of a serti-stone, re-gilding, welding…), except during the holiday season or exceptional periods, you can count on a delay of 4 to 8 weeks approximatively. These repairs are handled by our artisans in our Marseilles atelier.

What is the After-Sales service policy of warranty?

Our jewels are covered by a two-year warranty, valid from the purchase date. This warranty covers all defaults and defects. However, a breakage or deterioration due to an improper handling will not be covered by the warranty and will result in costs according to the required work. Link bracelets are excluded from this warranty.

What is the pricing policy of the After-Sales service?

In order to know the cost of a repair, we suggest you send a quote request to our After-Sales service department via our contact form https://www.gasbijoux.com/contact.html (request type: After-Sales service – repair request). Do not forget to attach one or two photographs in order to enable us to precisely answer in the shortest delay.

The crystals and the stones get detached, what should I do?

If a sequin or a stone gets detached (after a shock for instance) you shouldn't use strong glue since it definitely alters the jewel and we can't then guarantee the repair. We ask you to rather leave the jewel in one of our stores or to send it to our Customer Service Dept where the best will be done to meet your expectations.

How do you explain the After-Sales costs of some procedures that seem simple such as the bonding of a strass?

Each jewel sent to our After-Sales service, in our Marseilles atelier, will first be cleaned in a professional vibrator, then the silver layer of the strass as well as the residual adhesive will be grinded, in order to leave the area clean for the re-fitting of the strass, the size and color of the strass must be identical, a research by our artisans is necessary for all our After Purchase services.


INFORMATION ON THE WEAR AND SAFETY OF CHILDREN'S JEWELLERY

We are delighted by your interest in our children’s creations and we hope they will please their happy little recipient.
For an optimal adjustment, we recommend a minimum age of 5 years old for the bracelets and 7 years old for the necklaces.
However, if you wish to offer these jewelry at a child that would be less than 3 years old, we advise the jewelry should only be worn under the supervision of an adult. Small objects can indeed potentially be swallowed.


CARE INSTRUCTIONS

How can I preserve/protect my Gas Bijoux jewelry?

In order to preserve the radiance of your jewels, it is necessary to avoid contacts with water, humidity and perfume. Perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, chemicals, lemon and further acids, as well as salty water, and especially chlorine, are the enemies of your jewelry.
It is advised to put your make-up and perfume on before your jewelry.
It is not advised to wear your jewelry when sleeping, swimming, or when practicing sports.

Many of our creations bear delicate materials: authentic feathers, enamels, mother-of-pearls, natural stones, leathers. It is thus indispensable to avoid alcoholic products, otherwise you will irreversibly see these materials tarnish, yellow.
The warranty will not cover these damages independent from the fabrication

Leather is a noble material that gets old and takes a natural patina with time. Regarding the bracelets with straps: the nylon strap can be in contact with water. However we recommend that it shouldn't be recurrent and long-lasting since it could alter the metal parts.

How can I care for my Gas Bijoux jewelry?

Your jewelry will bear a lovely patina with time, this is normal. Patina (the golden or silver layer) will tend to disappear with time. The delay in which it will disappear depends on how you care for the jewelry. A diminishing patina is the result of a completely normal wear.

Jewelry naturally oxidizes with air and humidity. We recommend to regularly wash them by delicately rubbing them with a soft and dry cloth to remove oxidation marks. To avoid oxidation, keep the jewelry in a bag or box, away from air.

With a supple brush, we recommend that you timely wash the jewelry with cold and soapy water in order to remove accumulated deposits (salty water, chlorin, solar oils) then thoroughly rinse them with clear cold water. Carefully dry them with a dry and soft cloth. Do not use warm water, only cold, or lukewarm water.

Can I give you my jewelry in order to clean it, re-silver or re-gild it?

If, despite your care, your jewelry remains “blacken”, and except for link bracelets, we can wash them in a special barrel bath (chargeable service). To do so, visit a Gas Bijoux shop or contact the customer service via our contact form:

Damp cleaning cloths are also very effective, you can order them on our website.

Except for link bracelets, it is also possible to re-silver or re-gild a jewel, charged service, in our Marseilles atelier.

Can I replace the string on string bracelets ?

It is possible to change the tie of the bracelets (depending on the availability of the colours) in the Gas Bijoux boutiques. The fee to change the tie is 15 euros (macramé 18€).
