On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Maison, André and Marie Gas, Founder and Artistic Director of the Maison, unveil a unique wicker collection.
Born from the deep connections they have woven with craftswomen during their travels on the island of Madagascar, it is a continuation of the raffia line. Released as a limited series, the wicker capsule resonates the art of Malagasy basket weaving with the expertise of our workshop.
Using wicker as the guiding thread, it highlights the delicate work of women with the plant fiber and tells the story of our attachment to craftsmanship, the bonds that unite us with those who push the boundaries of creation.

What could be better than a pop-up with a Marseille flair to kick off the "festivities"? Some projects just seem destined! From April 25th to July 1st, 2024, Gas Bijoux will be setting up shop at the heart of the "Tous Fadas sur la Rive Gauche" exhibition at Le Bon Marché. For the occasion, the Maison has created a versatile sales space with interchangeable blocks in sculptural forms. Designed like a jewel, the setting subtly echoes its origins. The furniture blends harmoniously with rings, wood, brass, sand, and minerals in the colors of Roucas-Blanc, the rock that houses the workshop on the heights of Marseille.

Originally, the Maison founded by André Gas in 1969 had its anchor point along the coastal road, where he showcased his initial creations from Ramatuelle to Saint-Tropez. As passionate as he was, could the young Marseille native, a graduate of the Fine Arts, have envisioned the trajectory and the numerous twists and turns that led him to 2024?
In just one year, André Gas achieved success. He revived the charm bracelets, in harmony with the prevailing spiritual trend, which were dubbed "charms" by the international press. He opened his first boutique in Saint-Tropez, offering a selection of necklaces and bracelets to summer vacationers from around the world.
On Place de la Garonne, one can still find jewelry, as well as perfumes and bags. The Maison has grown, the business has become a family affair, and the boutique has been reinvented. It is the most beautiful space dedicated to collections for women, men, gifts, and other accessories under its name. The most symbolic address, embodying the entire Maison's ecosystem, in kinship with BY MARIE, the multi-brand store featuring designers curated by his daughter, Gas Bijoux's Artistic Director. Here, where it all began, one can envision the interior designs, the services offered to customers, the product displays, and the window installations that characterize the brand's chic solar identity.

Since its beginnings on the beaches of Saint-Tropez, Gas Bijoux has embodied timeless solar chic. The Ensoleille Moi candle reveals the iconic fragrance of the Maison, promising an endless summer. Handcrafted in France by a master candle maker, our candle is made from a blend of mineral and 100% natural and European soy. The wick is 100% untreated cotton and manufactured in Europe. Lastly, its lid is made from French wood whose traceability we verify.
This indoor candle is wrapped in its handmade raffia pouch from Madagascar. The craftsmanship of the raffia pouch adheres to sustainable and environmentally friendly production among local communities, promoting the employment of women from disadvantaged backgrounds.

In 2009, we pushed open the doors of the Bon Marché Rive Gauche, to open our first corner. 14 years later, we are celebrating our collaboration with the inauguration of the new Bijoux Créateur space on the first floor of the department store. In this new space, visitors can stroll between the various counters inspired by Parisian codes. An immersive stroll through the wooded decor, revealing the craft secrets of each of the houses represented.

As part of the Bons Marchés de l'Été, from April 29 to June 18, 2023, the Maison is combining its expertise and its creativity to unveil an exclusive collection inspired by the brand's Mediterranean roots. Two years after celebrating its 50th anniversary, Gas Bijoux is delighted to partner up with the famous Vilebrequin house, who has just celebrated its 50th anniversary.
This collaboration resulted in handmade bracelets designed around the color codes of the house Vilebrequin. In keeping with the idea of upcycling that both brands hold dear, some models even use cords, tips or fabric scraps that are woven link after link around metal beads.
Born from a unique savoir-faire and sublimated on the hills of Marseille, the hand-woven natural raffia has become one of André Gas' favorite materials.
It was only natural that, after taming the threads to let them flirt with some of our iconic creations, we decided to launch our very first collection of woven raffia bags.
Tote bags, purses, baskets, clutches and bags are now an essential part of our summer collections.
When he created Gas Bijoux in 1969, André Gas developed a pioneer and visionary business model in terms of sustainable economy.
From the beginning, our company has always been driven by the upcycling of stones and materials.
In 2021, still inspired by the same ethic and following the same steps, we launched our Seconde Vie campaign in our main Saint-Tropez store.
For almost a year, you have entrusted us with about 400 of your old Gas Bijoux creations and our Atelier have carefully brought them back to life, with the help of its 60 expert craftsmen.
We are delighted to repeat the success of the Seconde Vie campaign by offering all these recycled creations for sale with low prices* in some of our stores.

A few months ago, we launched the “Seconde vie” project, a circular and eco-conscious initiative, for which our clients were invited to bring or send back the old Gas Bijoux creations they no longer wore in order to give them… a new start in life.
This way, our workshop has collected around 400 pieces. Thanks to the unique savoir-faire of our craftsmen, they have been appraised, cleaned, dismantled, re-strassed, re-packed, re-enameled, reshaped and reassembled. Today, we are very proud to put these as good as new creations back on the market. These upcycled pieces will be exhibited and available for the first time during the Saint Tropez Braderie, from October 29th to 31st, in our historical “tropézienne” store. Like a sign, where it all began…
Of course, as part of our desire to be ethical, all the profits from the Seconde Vie sales will be donated to the Wings of the Ocean charity, which fights against marine and coastal pollution. To do so, the volunteers undertake multiple actions to clean up the oceans, collect waste on the beaches and raise awareness among the public and local authorities. We are delighted to join the fight for the Big Blue, which has always been the inspiration of our house.
Once again, Gas Bijoux is proud to be supporting the Ruban Rose charity during this month of Pink October.
To help Research and Awareness against breast cancer, we have designed our famous Andy earrings in 3 pastel hues: pink, purple and ivory.

As summer comes to an end for most of us, there is one city where the sun is still shining: Miami. Needless to say we are proud to have opened our latest boutique in this famous Florida coastal city.
Located in the elegant CocoWalk shopping mall in the lush Coconut Grove neighborhood, this new showcase features a different visual entity in terms of layout and merchandising, designed once again by Studioparisien.
Between the sunny yellow pop walls and the lagoon blue alcoves, there is a subtle contrast of shapes and textures: terracotta brick totems meet podiums covered with varnished cement tiles, plaster applications and of course the emblematic rattan.

From March 16th until the end of the month, we are launching a collection operation called ‘Seconde Vie’ in our french stores and we need your help. To participate in this eco-friendly project together, we will collect the old Gas Bijoux creations that you will have returned to us in our points of sale, so that they can be recycled.
As a matter of fact, after a careful inspection by our expert sales consultants to see if the jewels can actually be recycled, the jewelry you will return with will be sent to the workshop so that we can recycle the components and reusable finishes, instead of ordering or producing new ones.
All Gas Bijoux creations will be included, even if damaged, blackened or oxidized (with the exception of link bracelets and mismatched earrings).
To thank you for this much needed action, we will give you a discount voucher for your next purchase in the stores, which you can use the same day or later. This discount will depend on the number of pieces you bring back to us: 10% off for one piece of jewelry, 15% for two pieces, 20% for three pieces.

After Toulouse last year, we picked another city in the South-West of France to set foot and bring sunshine in, last March, right before their lockdown.

Gas Bijoux is joining the #pinkoctober solidarity movement.
Every Monday of this special month, we will unveil two pieces of jewelry - obviously pink - and the profits made that very week from the e-shop sales will be donated to the fight against breast cancer.

For this, Marie has invited her friend Johanna Senyk, the creator of Françoise to give birth to their shared ideas. In a real exchange with the house's craftsmen and their unique savoir-faire, the designer took up the challenge of transforming her impulse into confortable and perfect balanced jewelry.
